Mental Health Month
May is a time to raise awareness of those living with mental or behavioral health issues and
to help reduce the stigma so many experience.
NAMI -Partner-Guide – You Are Not Alone
This Is My Brave brings stories of mental illness and addiction
out of the shadows and into the spotlight.
Connect Sunday May 23rd
to a virtual National Teen Show.
Let our teens know we care by listening.
This Is My Brave National Teen Show features ten young people from across the U.S. – Jada, Abi, Aarna, MaDarrius, Daijah, Anastasia, Elder, Ryver, Joe, and Savanna – who will share their stories of living with mental illness and / or addiction. Through original music, dance, essay, and poetry, our Brave teens use the performing arts to create hope for themselves, their peers, and society as a whole. Teens today need to know that it is okay to not be okay – and there are teens just like them that have overcome similar circumstances.
